Academic Excellence

Our Lady’s College 049.JPGAt Our Lady's College (OLC),  the pursuit of excellence encompasses all dimensions of college life and students are supported to achieve their academic potential. Students can undertake a variety of pathways to secure success and maximise their future opportunities. Utilising a direct ATAR pathway, a VET pathway, or a bespoke hybrid model, excellence is available to all.

Over the years, the College has enjoyed a consistently strong record in the various testing programs, National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) tests, Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) examinations and Certificate outcomes.

OLC's NAPLAN results show a consistent history of impressive gains in the results of students in their journey from Year 7 (when they entered the College) to their final NAPLAN test in Year 9.

Year 12 2023 results demonstrated a strong performance for our senior students:

  • Top ATAR score was 98.8
  • 45% of ATAR eligible students received an ATAR greater than 90
  • 54% students graduated with one or more VET qualifications
  • A number of students graduated with a Diploma in Business

These results reflect our commitment to quality teaching and equipping girls with the skills to translate their learning into academic success.
